Instagram has been at it again earlier this week testing NEW layouts in their Android Beta App! I managed to snap off a couple of these SPY screenshots before they disappeared. Looks like Instagram is user testing a potential “suggested” thumbnail gallery which displayed right below your photos pushing your captions below the thumbnails!

It’s pretty cool how Instagram has been serving up new functionality for very short times to see how us BETA testers interact with it. After 1 hour this functionality was removed and I couldn’t find it anymore! This has been the only noticeable BETA change I have seen since: Instagram Account Switching BETA

The Suggested thumbnail gallery was scrollable to the left, so you could see a carousel of thumbnails which appeared to be displayed in a similar algorithm as the discovery page.  Most of the photos were from my pages which indicated a heavy weighting on photos from accounts that I follow.
